The scope of this project covered a user experience and user interface evaluation study of CompuCal Calibration Solutions CompuCal Go platform. A heuristic evaluation was undertaken to find certain types of usability problems in a user interface design.
CompuCal Go platform
The Nimbus UX Design Research team completed the following tasks:
UX/UI Study Requirements: UX/UI requirements gathered from a number of online workshops (using Miro).
Heuristic Evaluation findings & preliminary recommendations: Throughout the duration of the study the Nimbus UX team engaged with the CompuCal team as to provide feedback.
Heuristic Evaluation Findings Report & Presentation: Inclusive of Heuristic evaluation results and recommendations. Note: examples of UI designs were also provided as to illustrate where the UI design can be improved.

Compucal & Nimbus Technology Gateway partnership
This was an excellent use of one innovation voucher. CompuCal Calibration Solutions are far too busy with the day to day demands of their business. To tap into the expert design knowledge of the Nimbus Gateway UX Design team allowed the company to assess its platform’s functionality in an unbiased and end-user aligned way. The UX teams also highlighted areas were added-value functionality could be considered. This project helped CompuCal to launch a new product on the market, enabling companies to transform away from paper based processes, to digital & mobile solutions, with direct impact for technicians and engineers in the field, delivering efficiency and quality gains.
