Applied Internet of Things (IoT)
The Applied IoT Cluster harnesses the expertise, skills, imaginations and equipment of six Enterprise Ireland Technology Gateways and specialises in applying state of the art internet of things technologies to new and existing products, processes and services. Companies and individuals throughout Ireland are capitalising on the research and development resources available across the cluster to develop new and innovative ways of applying sensors, communications, networks, software, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR) and data analytics to solve existing problems and develop new ideas that will enhance their business.
The Applied IoT Cluster team, consisting of 6 Gateway Managers, 150 full-time research engineers and a dedicated Business Development Manager strives to provide companies with the necessary aids and supports required to drive their businesses forward and contribute to increased revenues and jobs growth. The Applied IoT Gateways work together in a cohesive approach to provide innovative solutions in an efficient manner ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
